Mark Haubert
Mark Haubert is a global executive leader with over three decades of experience driving aggressive growth and transformation across the energy industry. His career spans leadership roles in sales, business development, marketing, engineering, operations, culture change, employee development, sustainability, M&A, and integration at companies including Ranger Energy Services, Express Energy Services, Baker Hughes, Cameron, and Schlumberger. Mark has built and led high-performing teams, executed multimillion-dollar strategic turnarounds, and transformed commercial functions into scalable, results-driven operations.
At Ranger Energy Services, Mark developed and implemented the company go-to-market strategy, transformed and unified company culture, developed a strong unified brand presence and value proposition, secured multi-year and multi-basin contracts with numerous major operators, developed and commercialized a real-time data acquisition system to monitor operations, implemented a sustainability management system, and led a three-company integration to form Ranger Wireline. These efforts resulted in revenue growth of 300% from $155 to $620 million in 5 years.
At Express Energy Services, Mark restructured the field sales organization, implemented competency development and commission plans, implemented a strategic account team and best practices, segmented the customer base and refocused the team, formed a sales operations and marketing team to deliver pricing and proposal management, sales training programs, market research, and marketing communications. This commercial transformation enabled the team to grow revenue with key accounts by 240%, to secure 33% of total revenue under long-term contract, to position the company for sale, and to sell to Apollo Global Management.
His hands-on leadership and deep understanding of commercial operations make him uniquely equipped to diagnose underperformance, implement best practices, and lead change from the inside out.
As a leader within the Texas Knights of Columbus organization, Mark donates time to his council, and he mentors the leadership teams of several local Parish councils to be their best. The Knights’ mission is to lead men to grow in their Catholic faith, to support our Parish priests, to provide charitable service and donations to ministries and organizations that do great work throughout the Houston metro area.
